Photos of the 2010 Great Georgia Airshow in Peachtree City, Georgia. This is a challenging venue to photograph. The sun will backlight the aircraft most of the day. The best results tend to be when the aircraft make low passes or during takeoffs and landings, with the trees offering an attractive backdrop. Otherwise this is a great venue with a solid mix of first rate civilian performers, modern military demonstrations and classic warbirds. In addition, access to the static aircraft and performers is excellent. If you are in the South Eastern United States during the month of October, you owe it to yourself to put the Great Georgia Airshow on your schedule.
